Current Vacancies

Addiction & Recovery Practitioner

Base location: Colwyn Bay Residential Rehabilitation Unit

Hours: 37.5 hrs over 7 days and/or nights, worked to a rota

Salary: £22,502 per annum

 

Parkland Place is one of the UK’s leading private residential rehabilitation centres providing a diverse range of residential rehabilitation services including clinical and therapeutic addictions treatment programmes. Our multi-disciplinary teams take great pride in delivering personalised treatment programmes to our guests and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

In this role you will report directly to the Lead Addictions Practitioner and be accountable for the care planning and implementation of a range of treatments to adults with addiction issues within a residential setting.  You will support the management of a varied client caseload and assist with the delivery of a structured psychosocial programme of interventions including one to one and group work.

With an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, you will also have experience of working with vulnerable clients and those with substance and addiction related issues.

 

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Welsh language is desirable although not essential.

Counsellor

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Part-time hours considered)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Parkland Place our prestigious, 16-bed private residential rehabilitation treatment centre.

Parkland Place is one of the UK’s leading private residential rehabilitation centres providing a diverse range of residential rehabilitation services including clinical and therapeutic addictions treatment programmes. Our multi-disciplinary teams take great pride in delivering personalised treatment programmes to our guests and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

Within this role you will lead in the development, delivery and evaluation of the counselling service to clients in a residential setting and within this to work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the methodical governance of psychological practice within the service.

You will have a diploma in counselling and current BACP membership and accreditation. You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in addictions counselling and delivering group work.

 

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
